Crisis Assist provides critical assistance services during crises - such as natural disasters and severe weather - when you're in your vehicle. This service involves contacting loved ones, routing assistance, 24/7 connection to an emergency-certified advisor and updated information concerning the issue. With OnStar, you can have peace of mind wherever you go.
There When You Need It
OnStar advisors are available to assist you 24 hours a day, whether searching for the closest hotel or needing routing assistance during your long or short journey. It is as simple as pushing the blue button near the rear-view mirror and explaining to the advisor what you need help with, including getting in touch with a loved one. The red button, near the blue button, acts as an emergency response, such as for ambulance, fire, and police services, if you have an accident.
The OnStar mobile application lets you take OnStar services wherever you go. A crash-response system on the app can detect a crash and trigger the emergency response service. The app also lets you locate other friends or family separated during an emergency by viewing their locations or sharing yours.
The Command Centre monitors disaster situations and gathers critical data in real-time. The Command Centre will give you the information you require but cannot access. Furthermore, OnStar can help during natural disasters, even if you are at home, such as volcanic eruptions, wildfires, tsunamis, hurricanes, landslides, and earthquakes. The service can also help during other emergencies, such as terrorist activity and power outages.
